Is it still possible to undoubtedly receive your miracle? The God
of all possibilities is able to do the impossible even when you least
expect it. But will He find faith of the heart in you when He comes?
This post shows you how to hold onto your faith even if your chances of
receiving your desired answer seem very slim.
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God - Romans 4:20 (KJV).
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding - Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV).
You
may have done all you can now and you are empty of what else to do for
your answered prayers, however, don't be despaired. It's time to stand
strong in faith, nothing wavering. It's time to trust God and not lean
on your own understanding.
How To Finish Strong
1. Don't stagger at the promises of God
God's
word is purified seven times and settled forever. It is very reliable
and never fails. What the Lord says is what He does. So, you need to put
your eyes focused on the word of God and not on the raging storms.
Unfortunately Peter missed it here. He was walking on water until he
ceased to focus on Christ and focused on the storm, and then he started
sinking.
These storms, which represent the challenges before you,
stop at the sound of God's word. Therefore, standing firm on the word of
the Lord and not wavering no matter what is happening will empower your
answer to come speedily.
2. Stand in faith
It
is impossible to please God without faith of the heart. You must
believe that He will do what He had promised. Choose to be moved by
God's word and not by what people are saying or the circumstances around
you. Also, believe the report of the Lord in spite of all odds. For
instance, Abraham stood in faith, believing that God would indeed make
him a father of nations, despite the deadness of his body and Sarah's
body.
3. Trust the Lord
You need to have a
firm confidence in the Father's personality and integrity. You are to
rely on God as your creator, the Alpha and the Omega, the all knowing
and powerful God. So, rest on the Lord and depend on His love that never
fails. Trust the Lord with all your heart. Again, Abraham showed his
trust in God when he took Isaac to sacrifice him. He trusted that God
was able to raise him from the dead, since the multiplication of the
generations after him was to begin with Isaac.
4. Don't lean on your understanding
Many
people doubt the Lord's word because they try to reason out how the
change will come. They try to imagine the possibility of getting their
heart desires based on the prevailing circumstances. So, when they can't
fathom the possibility, their faith wavers.
God is not tied to
the logical ways humans reason. His thoughts and ways are higher than
our thoughts and ways. He can change the course of anything at anytime.
He can do things that are scientifically impossible. For example, it is
scientifically impossible to create a path in the sea with the water
standing as walls, but God did it. He parted the Red Sea and the
Israelites walked on dry ground, and also caused it to flow back when
they had all crossed, thereby drowning the Egyptians who pursed them
into the sea
5. Give glory to God
Giving
glory to God from your heart, in spite of the challenges before you, is a
proof that you truly believe in Him. It makes God appear bigger than
all your problems, and as you continue to ascribe glory to the Lord, the
problem continues to become smaller and smaller till it disappears.
How To Achieve These
One
way to be able to stand in faith and not stagger is by meditating on
God's faithfulness and the things He had done before. Also, by believing
that He is able to do what He had done before again, considering that
He does not change. Your faith increases as you spend time studying and
meditating on the Word of God. As a result of this, every impossible
case becomes possible before you just as it is with Christ.
God
is waiting for you at the finishing line. So, don't allow the
circumstances around you to make you stagger and quit at this time.
Focus on the Lord's word and promises, remain strong in faith and let
Christ deal with the issues of how to grant your answered prayer.
Congratulation, you will finish strong in faith!
