Questions For Christian Leaders

If your calling is in the area of God's work, you'll repeatedly have to ask yourself some questions. One of which is: Am I responsible to anyone? If you are, fair enough. If not, you're walking on a dangerous rope. You may just be suggesting that you are superhuman. It's only safe to leave such a person in the able hands of God. He knows each of us inside-out. He knows when to provide advice, when to strengthen us because of our streams of weaknesses. For when authority opts to do without accountability it becomes mindless thereby and sooner than later disaster becomes the outcome. Are my priorities right? The character of priorities can be tricky. When priorities shift out of order, we can expect dangerous consequences. Our health and success can fail and suffer if our priorities are left uncoordinated, or get coordinated too late. Am I out of dated in my walk with God? If that doesn't produce an automatic no, you're close to the borderline. A daily controlled presence with God is your surest protection. "Your word I have treasured in my heart that I may not sin against you" (Psalm 119: 11 NAS). I once heard someone say, if you're not spending your time with God, you're spending it with something else that commands more respect to you than Him. Mind the word 'treasured' in the quoted passage. It means to guide, or guard, or protect something, to shield it against threat. Be disciplined enough to keep a date with God's word on daily basis, with minimum interruptions. Offer your mind to God each day when it's fresh. "...Feed my sheep" (John 21: 16 KJV). If by Saturday, you're not stable because you've yet to prepare something for Sunday, shift your priorities. Begin to delegate. Leadership without delegation is a misnomer. "But select from among you...men ...whom we may put in charge of this task. But we will devote ourselves to prayer, and to the ministry of the word." (6: 3-4 NASB). My Christian brethren, God delegates; He recognizes hierarchy. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/2556439

How To Find Your True Love?

Many people dream to have that one unique person out there somewhere in this big universe who would be his or her perfect match. A person who will come riding in a seven horse chariot and change their life forever. It will be like a dream come true, like it happens in fairy tales. Does it happen? Is it true? And if what you have been dreaming about is true then how do you find your perfect partner your soul mate your other half??

What are you waiting for?

Begin your search for your other half right now because only he or she will make you happy. When you have the thought in your brain the brain would start sending the message to your other half too. So do make yourself aware there is someone out there who is only yours. Now you just have to start the search, only you have to make yourself visible for him or her. Become the spectacular person you want to be so you will stand out. By doing things you love to do, you will also be doing things that are more likely to attract the lover from your past births.

Where is your other half?

Yes that is the point where is your true love or your other half in which part of this world? There is only one person in the world who can be that, what are the chances that he or she'll live in your town? So if you're expecting that the person should be only from your cast, color and creed you might never find your love.

You have to keep yourself open minded about who he or she could be. As time goes and your message reaches him through the vibration there could be an instant connection. It doesn't matter which part of the world he or she lives in. The connection will be made with you that is the law of lovers... you will be pleasantly surprised.

When will your true lover show up?

Such things do not work on a schedule. Your other half and love of your life has perhaps already crossed your path but you are not aware. But you must have patience as you will be spending rest of your life or many lives for that matter with him or her in happiness and bliss.

Some time it might happen when you are already married. But no matter when, once the idea or search has begin he or she will come in contact with you sooner or later. You need not keep a particular time frame that yes now I will settle down because my true love has not arrived. When you go with wrong partner who is not your other half this will cause pain for everyone involved.

How does your true lover look like?

Do not get all these fantasies and fairy tale stories and Bollywood movies flash in your brain. Oh he will be like a film star and he would own fleet of cars and he will have a big bungalow or how wonderful and special your true love will be.

From my own search I found this, although my true lover did not match my colorful fantasy yet he is every bit what I want in life. This one simple fact remains that we want everything because we do not have that real other half and we try to find comfort by looking for other things and later get disillusioned. However once you find your true love you will be shocked to see how you both will match because that is the one created for you by God so I suggest keep yourself open without too much of fantasy.

Are you trying to search your true love everywhere you go?

Do not do that but try the other way some time. We look and search for something nonstop but only find it when we stopped looking isn't that true?

Yes the same principle applies for finding your true love. Become busy with your own life, realize your goals. Do not keep looking out for your someone in every airport, shop or cinema hall. Whence you totally forget about meeting someone chances are he or she would come knocking down.

What you should do until you find your true love?

You must first prepare yourself for unexpected. Now you are a traveler of a mystical path so pursue your studies, interests, hobbies and activities that are close to your heart. Stop doing things which are good for you but start doing things what your heart desires. This doesn't mean that you go out to pub and drink every night. I am talking about productive activities like your career your hobbies do that and enrich your knowledge because your every honest step is unconsciously taking you towards your other half

How do you prepare yourself for your true love?

Make yourself happy and confident and make yourself healthy and fit, learn to do new fashions. Style yourself into a more vibrant and fun loving individual before you find your true mate.

Once you're happy with yourself, your other half will make you even happier. But no one can fill a void created by not knowing who you are so first find yourself, this is very important in the search for your true love

How long do you have to wait?

There cannot be a time limit. But if your yearning is fierce and your passion in settling down only with your true half is strong, you will be able to get your other half. While you're waiting for your perfect other half, friends and family might dislike your idea at first and they might also question at your single status.

People around might sneer at you and even imply that something is "wrong" with you if you're "still" not married and settled in life. Just ignore them, this would be my best advice because in the run of life it is you who have to be happy and blissful with your true lover and achieve Nirvana. Hence learn to ignore, keep your fingers crossed and be patient. Patience is virtue and good things come to those who wait, so live life and have fun. So keep sending the waves of your love to your true lover every day and every hour of the day and one fine morning he or she will meet you. The only thing which could connect you with him/her is your faith so do not ever lose your faith And do not forget to read the Bible of love

"A Passionate Gospel Of True Love" This will be your first step to help you find your true love.

True Love

Being in love is such a wonderful experience. The saying goes, "better to have loved once than to never have loved at all." How romantic of a saying, but unfortunately that only applies to fairy tales. You see, love goes beyond the shallowness of emotions. Feeling warm and fuzzy about someone has very little to do with real love. The chemistry and attraction we seem to need as the elements to lead us into a loving relationship are fleshly desires that will absolutely change with time. You see, true love never ends. That is why the only true love is the one that comes from God. And we ourselves know and believe the love which God has for us. God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them. 1John 4:16

We strive each day to feel real love, missing the point that love is not a feeling but a decision. Image a person saying they can only marry someone that is good looking. Imagine that after marrying that person, they have a deformed child or the good looking spouse burns their face in an accident. The importance of the appearance would mean nothing to a person who really loved their child and spouse. We all are getting older and we all are subject to possibly being disfigured in an accident. We hope that we would have people in our lives that will truly love us unfailingly. If we say we love God, but hate others, we are liars. For we cannot love God, whom we have not seen, if we do not love others, whom we have seen. 1 John 4:20

If we believe in Christ as our Lord and Savior we should love God, which means that we obey His commands. By this it will be clear to all men that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another. John 13:35 God has promised eternal life to those who believe and eternal damnation to those who don't. That is why Christ, who is the representation of the Father, who is love, tells us; Even so it is not the pleasure of your Father in heaven for one of these little ones to come to destruction. Matthew 18:14 Love is stronger than hate. Love disciplines for good. Love is the reason we do not tolerate sin. A tool for those who want to love is to understand love as "L" for listening,"O" for observe, "V" for validate, "E" for edify.

Those we love or want to love are those who listen to us carefully; observe us close enough to learn who we are; validate us by valuing our thoughts and feelings; and those who edify us by encouraging us to become who God wants us to be-better people.

Having An Intimate Relationship With God

Do you realize that that God desires to have an intimate relationship with you? You may be asking yourself, "What does that mean?" It means that the Lord desires that you would know Him in the deepest ways possible. That you would come to know Him personally and to trust, lean with on HIm with your whole heart. The Lord desires that in trusting Him, you would bring every heartache, burden, trouble and need to Him. The incredible thing is that the Lord has created us with the emotional and spiritual capacity to have that kind of relationship with Him.

David had a deep and intimate relationship with the Lord. It was so intimate in fact that the Lord referred to David as "a man after My own heart" (Acts 13:22) The great thing is thatDavid, was a man like us. The interesting thing is that the Bible reveal us that David was human and flawed, just like us and yet his heart longed for the Lord and knew that only He would satisfy His deepest longings. Through David, we are able to see that we too can have a that same relationship with God and because Jesus Christ has paid the price to bring us into that intimacy, we can.

So, how can we begin on that journey of deep intimacy with the Lord. There are some steps that are required.

1. Desire
In order to have true intimacy, we need to desire or want to have that type of relationship with the Lord. The Lord never forces Himself on us. He wants us to freely want Him and all He has to offer us.

2. Trust
True intimacy does not exist without trust. Trusting means surrendering, laying down everything before the Lord. As we do this, we show our hearts to God and we reveal to Him that we are leaning on Him to provide everything we need - spiritually, emotionally and physically.

3. Communication
Communication is an important part of intimacy. As we come before the Lord and share our heart with Him, we need to put time aside to listen and hear what the Lord desires to say to us. Communication is critical because if we are not hearing from the Lord then our relationship quickly becomes stale and monotonous, rote. We can be sure that this is not what the Lord desires for us.

4. Quality Time
Just like human relationships, our relationship with the Lord will not grow in intimacy if we do not spend quality time with Him. Quality time means that we need to make the time to get to know God, His heart and His ways. Then our intimacy will grow deeper and more intimate with Him.

5. Transparent
Intimacy also requires transparency with Lord. To allow the Lord to speak directly to our hearts, we need to be fully open with Him. Openness means sharing the deepest things: fears, doubts, our desires and sin. Confession our sin and honest with the Lord is vital for intimacy.

There is so much that the Lord offers to us. He wants to have a deep, intimate relationship and draws us into it. There are so many blessings that come intimacy with the Lord, if we are willing.

What Is the Gospel of Mark?

Mark is the shortest book compared to the other 3 gospels including Matthew, Luke and John. It records the life and work of Jesus Christ while he was on earth. Many thought that Mark is the first gospel to be written. Mark was the cousin of Barnabas. Mark joined Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary trip. However, he dropped out before they completed the missionary trip (Revelation 3:14-22). After that, Paul and Barnabas had a dispute on whether to let Mark join them in their missionary again. Paul reconciled with him later. He described Mark as a fellow worker in Colossians 4:10-11 and Philemon 1:24. He asked Mark to provide some help for him while he was in prison in 2 Timothy 4:11.

In the gospel of Mark, there are many Aramaic terms and Jewish customs. This may seem that Mark is aiming towards the non-Jewish audience when he wrote the book. Mark records many miracles. Mark explains the practices of the Jewish people. It also does not include Jesus' teaching concerning the prohibition of preaching to the Samaritans and Gentiles.

In those days, the Gentile followers were facing severe persecutions from Emperor Nero of Rome (John 15:18; 1 Peter 3:16). This is the reason why the most important theme of the book of Mark is about the cost of discipleship. Followers who are being persecuted will be comforted when they are reminded that their sufferings will be rewarded with resurrection and eternal life in the kingdom of God (1 Timothy 3:12; Matthew 5:44). Jesus promised that those who successfully endure persecution will be rewarded with the crown of life (James 1:12; Revelation 2:10; 2 Timothy 4:8).

Mark shows that the cost of discipleship means that you will be disregarded by your own family and friends (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 9:23-24). Jesus was abandoned by his disciples when Judas led the Roman soldiers to arrest him (Matthew 5:14-16). True Christian discipleship requires self-denial and your willingness to make sacrifices (Luke 14:27; Titus 2:11-12). The Jews rejected Jesus Christ as the Messiah so that he was sentenced to be crucified on the cross. The Jews were looking forward to a Messiah but they did not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The goal of Mark is to demonstrate Jesus Christ as the son of God who must die and resurrect on the third day in order he will be able to take on his messianic role (1 Corinthians 15:1-3; Romans 8:11).

The most important miracle in the book of Mark is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When the hour for Jesus' death comes near, the entire sky turned dark. Then, Jesus cried out, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which means, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? " (Mark 15:34) The curtain between the Most Holy Place and Holy Place was torn into two. This signifies that the barrier that separates us from God is removed through the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for our sins so that we can receive redemption for our sins and be reconciled to him. When a centurion saw how Jesus died, he said "Truly this man was the Son of God." (Mark 15:39)

How to make time for God

Has your hectic schedule crowded God out of your life?

Despite all the modern labor-saving devices--from microwave ovens to automatic washers--it seems as if we're busier than ever. Think for a moment how you spend your time.

Most of us spend eight to ten hours a day working and commuting. We sleep seven or eight hours a night. Subtract another hour for preparing meals, eating, and cleaning dishes. Take another hour off each day for bathing, shaving, grooming, and bathroom visits. Deduct an hour for watching TV news and reading a newspaper, and yet another hour for reading popular magazines or surfing the Internet.

Miscellaneous chores such as doing laundry, picking out clothes for work, cleaning your house or apartment, buying groceries, or gassing up your car cost you another hour each day. Watch a drama, sports, or a couple sitcoms on TV and you're down to no time available for God.

When you reach that point, it's time to rethink your priorities. If you're truly sincere about spiritual growth, the choice is obvious. You have to learn how to make time for a relationship with God. How much time you set aside shows how much importance you place on that part of your life.

But this problem is not new. In his short book, 'The Practice of the Presence of God', a seventeenth century French Carmelite known as Brother Lawrence revealed how to pursue God in even the busiest of days.

Brother Lawrence served as a kitchen helper in the Discalced Carmelite priory in Paris, from 1640 to his death in 1691. Cooking meals for 100 friars, using open fires and brick ovens, he vowed that he would not be so consumed with his duties that they would push God out of his life. So he talked to God constantly throughout the day.

No matter how busy you are, you can also adapt Brother Lawrence's simple strategy to focus your life on God. The first step, of course, is to re-commit yourself to this most important of all relationships. Then, start talking to God throughout the entire day. These short conversations may not seem like prayers, but they are. Thank God for your job and the income it provides. Ask for his guidance before making decisions. The more you bring God into your daily activities, the more you'll sense his presence.

Second, let your work unite you to God. No matter what kind of job you may have, honest labor brings dignity to you. It also gives you the opportunity to help others, whether they are your customers or coworkers. Your attitude can change your work from drudgery to an exercise in obedience that advances your spiritual maturity.

Third, remember that the only eternal aspect of your life is your relationship with God. The money you earn or the chores you do may be necessary, but you can't take them with you out of this life. By focusing instead on God and his love for you, you'll gradually realize your purpose for being here.

Fourth, learn to trust God. Brother Lawrence had a simple, childlike faith in his creator. You may feel that your education or sophistication demands a more intellectual approach to God. But that's not what God requires. When you recognize him as your loving, forgiving father, you will make a great leap on the path to true wisdom.

Finally, persevere. Brother Lawrence was a practical man who understood how much our minds can wander and what it's like to have a short attention span. He counseled a forgiving attitude toward yourself for these lapses. God is pleased with whatever effort you make to draw closer to him. Just as a parent encourages a toddler who stumbles and falls, God lifts us up to try again and again.

Whether you're married or single, you can make time in your life for God. He will meet even your feeble attempts by giving you a peace-filled, surprising sense of his presence. Like the father of the prodigal son, he is waiting and watching for you to come home.

Bear Fruit

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Colossians 1:10
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God...

In our recent Bible study, we've been looking at John 15 and the words of Jesus to His disciples the night before He died. They left the upper room in Jerusalem where they had dined and walked toward Gethsemane. Quite possibly, they were walking right through the ancient vineyards that still lie between the two locations when Jesus said to His disciple, "I am the vine, you are the branches. I want you to bear fruit... much fruit... and even more fruit so that My Father will be glorified."

As a disciple of Christ, I realize His message also applies to me. But what does it mean to "bear fruit?" All my life I've been told this refers to sharing the Gospel with others so they may know Christ and have eternal life. Certainly that is the greatest of all deeds we can do; however, throughout the New Testament, "fruit" is associated with doing "good works." In The Secrets of the Vine, Bruce Wilkinson puts it this way, "Fruit is not something you produce to earn salvation, which is a gift you receive through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-10). Rather, fruit is something that you do as a Christian to meet a need and bring glory to God."

So if "bearing fruit" means doing something that helps another person and results in glorifying God, then I say to myself, 'That's easy!"

"And the one thing of which I can have the most perfect assurance is that, with Christ as my Vine, and the Father as my Husbandman, I can indeed be a fruitful branch." (The True Vine, Andrew Murray, page 22.)

Our Father,... Teach us, we pray Thee, to realize how truly this is the one object of our existence, and of our union to Christ. Make it the one desire of our hearts to be branches, so filled with the Spirit of the Vine, as to bring forth fruit abundantly." (Andrew Murray, The True Vine, page 23.)

Why Does God Allow Suffering?

The dictionary explanation

"why" (hwi, wi) Pronunciation Key
adv. For what purpose, reason, or cause; with what intention, justification, or motive, The cause or intention underlying a given action or situation:

Sometimes that is one of the most painful questions of all.

A battle in a war-torn country, women and children killed and buried in a mass grave, the grave surrounded by markers which bore the inscription "Why?"

Disasters, disease, and crime, each destroys our homes, family units, in fact whole civilizations, bringing untold suffering to the masses.Everyone touched by these tragedies want to know why these things befall them.

So why does God allow the suffering?

I mean to say he is powerful, loving, wise, and just. Yet the world we live in, is so full of hatred and injustice. The bible, Gods word teaches that "he cares for us, and that God hates wickedness and the suffering it causes far more than any, who has the gift of life through gods loving kindness.(Isaiah 55:8,9)

Common responses, I am sure many have heard is "Its Gods will", that everything that would happen, including tragic events, have all been predetermined by him long before we existed. How about "God works in mysterious ways" or "He brings death upon people - even children - so as to have them in heaven with him."

But "far be it from the true god, to act wickedly, and the almighty act unjustly!"(Job 34:10)

The things I have heard over the years, the answers that many religions,in my years of searching have for better word of it,"spat" out of their mouths, with very little thought of what they are saying.

The most important thing, especially in religion is to not be taken away with the hype, the emotions and feelings of the heart. For as the bible says" the heart is treacherous, who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9)

An absolute must, is to scrutinize everything you learn, keeping your head, so as to ask the questions necessary, to make a decision based on scriptural facts.

But I digress, do you want to know why people blame God for the suffering in this world? In many cases, those that blame god, think that he is the real ruler of this world. But they miss a simple but important truth that the bible teaches, and that is the real ruler the world is Satan.

Now before you stop reading, due the fact that you no longer wish to read this blasphemous article, use the very thing god gave you, think about it, it makes sense. The world is only reflecting the one who rules it, of the very personality that is misleading the entire inhabited earth.(Revelation 12:9)
It says in (1John 5:19) "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."

Satan is the epitome of all that is evil, he is hateful, deceitful, and cruel. The world under his influence, is all these things.
One reason why there is so much suffering.

The second reason why there is so much suffering, is that mankind is imperfect, sinful since the rebellion in the garden of Eden. Its no big secret that we as humans tend to struggle for dominance, resulting in wars, oppression and suffering.(Ecclesiastes 4:1;8:9)

There is also "Time and unforeseen occurrence" (Ecclesiastes 9:11)
Without God as a protective ruler, people may suffer, because they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Still why does he allow the suffering?
God is more than capable of stopping it. So why?
Why does he hold back?

These questions and more are answered in my next article:

What God Values!

"The Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20).

I have been reading a set of books in my devotions by Charles J. Rolls, in which the author writes, in great detail, about the attributes of God. He writes about names and characteristics of God which I had not considered before. One of these names is: God, the Valuer.

Throughout the Bible, there are many examples of what God values. He values what we give to Him. One example is in a passage is in Leviticus 27. Here the Lord commands priests to place an estimate on the value of all things that were donated to God by the people of Israel. In Leviticus, the expression, "thy estimation" is used twenty times. God places a value on the things we give to Him. Christ wields the prerogative of estimating the value of all gifts and services that are rendered in His name - gold, silver or stubble.

Take the story of Peter - after he had been fishing all night and caught nothing, Jesus asked for the use of his boat to teach the crowds. Then He told Peter to launch into the deep and let down his nets. Even though Peter was reluctant because they had fished in vain all night and were tired, he did it anyway and God rewarded him for the use of his boat, by giving him two boatloads of fish. Christ is no man's debtor.

There is also the story of Mary who poured the expensive, perfumed oil on Jesus feet. Jesus valued her precious act of worship and told the cynical disciples that this woman's act of kindness and adoration would be remembered wherever the gospel was preached. He valued her sacrifice of love.

Christ never undervalues a kind word spoken, or underestimates a loving deed done in His name. He noticed the widow who gave two mites. He understands what giving costs.

He also takes notice of neglect in giving thanks to Him for benefits received, as in the case of the ten lepers who were healed and only one came back to give thanks. Jesus asked where the others were.

Charles Rolls states so clearly, "He weighs the burden of sigh, he measures the pain of our heartaches, he senses the sorrow of severance from our loved ones, he perceives the motive of a desire, and discerns the aim of an aspiration. He fully knows, sincerely loves and gently cares for each one of us, His people."

The value that Christ puts on our life never changes. He paid the ultimate price for us. He loved us so much that He paid the price (an unbelievable cruel death) to redeem us from the of sin and death.

As in Ephesians 1:18, He considers us "His own precious treasure." God is the Valuer and places the highest value on who we are, what we do for Him, the time we spend for Him and what we give up for Him. God, the Valuer.

Do you know He values you?

God, we recognize that You place a value on what we do or don't do for You, but we also realize and are so grateful that You value us so much that You paid the ultimate price for us by dying for us. Thank You! Please give us wisdom and courage to value the things that You value. Amen.

What is the Holy Spirit of God saying to the churches today?

What is the Holy Spirit of God saying to the churches today? first let us be clear in our minds what we are talking about, when the name church is referred to, the church is a body of people, believers who are joined together by exercising their faith in the lord.

The church is also a physical place where believers congregate to worship God, and the people who go to church are often called Christians, or followers of Christ. The church therefore is a not an edifice made of bricks and mortar, although it resembles a large building, it is a habitation of the Spirit to build up a spiritual house.

If you are a Christian, then you have joined the believers who are called out of worldly habits to live under the government of Jesus Christ. This body of believers began their work on the day of Pentecost, gathering momentum throughout the centuries until now, progress has been made by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and will continue until the church reaches the state of perfection where she is describe as without spot or wrinkles.

With the coming tribulation storms on the horizon, anxious winds are blowing, knowledge is increasing, and mankind is in deeper search of answers to global crises, what is the Spirit of God saying to the churches? Will the world find time to listen amides the financial chaos? In many respect we resemble a people still searching for a way out of the wilderness, and only God knows the right way, only God has the right answers.

When deprivation is on the increase, violent crimes, thefts, murders, and the practice of covetousness, Christ is still speaking to his earthly body, urging the church onwards to the closure, no slacking at the last hurdle, like poetry in motion, she will be presented as a spotless bride.

God wants his people to be strengthen by the word, believe and practice the teaching, without compromising the validity of the gospel, a large part of the work that the Holy Ghost is doing right now, is to anointing the believers for, is to go out and spread the good news of salvation to others to fulfill the great commission, he wants the body to be corporate and leisure, reaching believers and none believers in the world.

Often people are disillusion with their life, things not going as they had planned, sometimes they have had bad experiences, and they are searching for answers, which is not always given by friends and relatives, anger with God comes in their frustration, and the teaching about Christ and what the bible says goes unheeded. It is important that the church recognize the need to instruct believers to fulfill their roles in the body of Christ.

In reminiscing the events in the church in the wilderness, not all the children of Israel live their lives according to what they were told, but went on from day to day mourning and grumbling, yet if they had follow careful instructions, they would no doubt have entered the promise land.

Today we are in a quandary, people lack faith, and they said it is impossible to live according to what God has said in his words, Christian living is conscious choice, freely entered into, therefore it is possible because individuals have made the choice, our natural instinct is to look back at failure and recoil in ourselves, but faith in God can make our lives overflow with grace and mercy.

There is a powerful force in forgiveness, I used to write about it, and think about it quite a bit, it is so wonderful to be forgiven, the guilt goes away, the pain is subsided, freedom comes from the things we believe or the things that are known to be guiding principles, and they are truly accepted by humanity.

We must believe for ourselves what God wants best for us. He is speaking loud and clear through the work of the Holy Spirit among different nationalities from Europe and South America, Gods words have been carried by powerful anointed servants, who are listening to his voice in the cool of the afternoon, and before the early morning dew falls, they are upon their knees awaiting instructions.

I read in the gospel that when the Lord was teaching his disciples about the end times, they were intrigue by the passion of the mystery that was hidden in the message.

And he urged them to share his passion of this mystery with the world,
We are forgiven out of the obedience to the Lord, in so doing we receive the reward of liberty in the Kingdom of God. When we stop, look and listen, we will hear what the spirit is saying to the churches.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
And the LORD answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:1-3

The church has gone through much, and still stands the test of time, having done all to stand. I will stand therefore in the Liberty of Christ Jesus, having my loins girded. Putting on the whole armor of god to withstand the onslaught goes the Devil, which is like a roaring lion, going dangerously about in the world seeking for easy prey.

Mild As A Child To Get Into Heaven

You need to become like a child to get into Heaven. But if you cause a little child trusting in Jesus to stumble, your punishment will be like the suffering of many people in the last days of the End-times.

The disciples of Jesus came to Him with the question, "Who then is greater in the Kingdom of Heaven?"

And Jesus called a child and stood it in the midst of them. He said, "If you should not turn and become as children, in no way should you enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child is the greater in the Kingdom of Heaven.

"And whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. And whoever causes to stumble one of these little ones trusting in me, it would be better for him if the millstone of a donkey were hung around his neck and he were sunk in the open sea.

"Woe to the world because of the obstacles. It is necessary for the obstacles to come. But woe to that man through whom the obstacle comes. And if your hand or foot causes you to stumble, cut them off and throw them from you! For it is better for you to enter into life lame or crippled than having two hands or two feet to be thrown into the eternal fire.

"And if your eye stumbles you, take it out and cast it from you! For it is better for you to enter into life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the Gehenna of fire."

Jesus finished by saying the angels of His little children always behold the face of His Father in Heaven, and so you should not despise them. You should become like a child or at least receive a child, and do not despise a child.

You want to become a son of God through your faith in Jesus Christ. And that is good. But you also need to become a son of man when you believe in Jesus. You will become a son of man when you become a child for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus said you become childlike when you humble yourself as a child. To humble yourself means to make yourself lowly and submissive, so you need to come into lowly submission to other people, as a child to the parents he needs.

When you become childlike by humbling yourself, you become greater in the Kingdom of Heaven. You will be greater than those who did not become like children and did not become lowly and humble.

And if you do not become like a child you can still receive a son of man in the Name of Jesus. You can receive a son of man who has humbled himself and made himself lowly for the sake of the Name of Jesus Christ. When you receive that son of man, you receive Jesus also. This is how the sealed son of man appears to you--in the Name of Jesus in lowly submission. And when you receive the sealed son of man you receive Jesus too.

You should not despise the son of man. Perhaps you think it is easy enough not to despise, but you need to be sure you don't despise him for his message. Climate change is causing the End of the world to come. Global warming is causing the sea levels to rise and many more floods to happen inland. Jesus predicted it and the sealed son of man speaks of it. You need to receive the sealed son of man rather than despise him.

This is why Jesus gave the example it would be "better" for you to be sunk in the sea if you cause a child trusting in Jesus to stumble. The Word Jesus used means "fitting," "useful," "meet," or "advantageous."

It would be to your advantage to experience the flooding of the End-times for yourself. It would be useful for you, to show you the End of the world is coming. Then you would be willing to repent of causing a child to stumble. And then you would be willing to receive the sealed son of man, and to become like a child yourself.

When you see the End of the world coming it might be just what you need to become a child so you can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. First you need to receive the sealed son of man, then you need to become a child yourself, not only a child of God but of people too.

Keeping Divine Order To Get Divine Results

Why haven't we seen a great move of God in the past 20 years? Why aren't we seeing a great harvest of souls today?

Too often we do not "see" God moving because of the confusing array of "out of focus teachings" in Christendom.

When we do not know how to keep divine things in divine order, we produce more Ishmaels and more obstacles to the very thing we wish to see accomplished.

We want church growth seminars and Bible based programs—things we can understand— instead of the Christ centered simplicity of being "in the Spirit."

When Jesus—the creator of all—speaks, He always reveals what He is going to do, not what He wants us to do for Him (ref: John 1:1-3).

The center of Evangelical thought is based on the Great Commission, but this is diminished when other great commandments are not kept in their proper order.

Here are two of these major truths!

Jesus gave us the greatest of all commandments in Matthew 22.

"...Which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
37 He (Jesus) said..., "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
38 This is the greatest and most important commandment.
39 The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40 All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments." (Matthew 22)

In John 14: 15 Jesus said: "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." Loving the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind is the greatest commandment, yet we Evangelicals treat the Great Commission as the greatest commandment.

18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28)

In the Great Commission passage Jesus commanded us to use His authority to make disciples of all nations, and to teach converts to observe all that He has commanded us to do. And the greatest of His commandments tells us to love Him with our whole being. Please notice that fulfilling the greatest commandment facilitates fulfilling the Great Commission.

We can never fulfill the Great Commission until we go beyond making converts. Our job is to transform converts into disciples who are taught to observe all the Lord has commanded us.

To obey what we consider The Great Commission, and thereby excuse ourselves from obeying what we consider lesser commands is still disobedience. Because of our disobedience, we fail miserably at fulfilling the Great Commission because the "lesser commands" are part and parcel of fulfilling the Great Commission.

Here is the other truth: The ministry of Christ in us. Being a Christian is more about who Christ is in us than who we are in Christ, as this passage in Galatians says:

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me ..." (Galatians 2:20)

The Holy Spirit is called "the Spirit of Jesus Christ" in Philippians 1:19, and Acts 16:7. And Galatians 2:20 says Christ lives in us.

If Christ lives in you and me, does He indwell us passively or does He manifest Himself through us? This verse makes it clear that the indwelling Christ will continue to do the things He did on Earth.

Jesus said: "I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. (John 14:12)

If you believe in Jesus, then you are "the one who believes" in this verse. It is this aspect of "Jesus in us" that will do the works that He did, and even greater, when He walked on the earth.
Jesus prophesied this promise over you...if you believe in Him! But you may be wondering how you can apply this seemingly impossible prophecy to your life? As you read this verse, keep saying to yourself over and over:

"It is Christ alone who lives in me that can do what Jesus did, and even greater, and not of myself lest I have something to boast about."

Because divinity indwells us, we can do divine things. Rather, the Divine can manifest Himself through us, the Divine being the Spirit of Jesus. Jesus is in us —collectively— continuing His ministry, and doing (as always) what He sees the Father doing (John 5:19-21). Since there are millions of us, His accumulative work through us certainly can exceed what He did in person.

As with all Spiritual truths, if anything is of God, it is God who did it, with or without our involvement. It takes a sovereign act of God to accomplish what only God can do, whether it be salvation or the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, or a healing, it is because God did it — in us and through us! It never is ours, it is always God in us. Because this is a divine truth we do not need to strive to do the things that Jesus did, because Jesus is in us to do the things that He did through us!

The presence of God is what makes the Great Commission work. The presence of God that He wants to pour out on His people will convict others of their sin and draw them to Him. Only those who truly encounter God can teach others how to encounter Him.

In the same way Jesus Christ was conceived within Mary, He was also conceived within every born again believer at the moment of salvation. Because He indwells us we now have a move of God living within us. I believe that this will be the greatest move of God the world has ever seen, and will usher in the Bride Groom!

Jesus Christ Died For Us

Part I. To my understanding on April 7, A.D. 30 Friday morning from 1:00am to 9:00am Jesus hung on the cross. Pilate wants to release Jesus. Jesus Christ died for the whosoever that believeth in HIM.

I would like for you to think on along with me Jerusalem, on Calvary. The time of departure is April 7, A.D. Friday morning from 1:00am to 9:00 am and this is where Jesus hung on the cross until 3:00pm. (This is to my understanding, for I am not a Theological Student at least not by man's hands. When I share I like to let others know please listen to Biblical teaching, read, study for yourself as well I like to share scriptures with my articles so others can read for themselves).

To be continued:

I will be sharing from the Book "Gospel" of John. This Gospel was addressed to Christians. The history of the life of Christ, with special reference to His most important acts and discourses.

Let's look at Pilate making an honest confession, Christ's Trial and Christ's Reply. (John 18:37, 38)

Pilate therefore, said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Truly Jesus was a master speaker and could could give testimony for himself under any and all circumstances. He has just made a statement of the kingdom of God, contrasting it with the kingdoms of men, or the kingdoms of the world, and now he makes a startling reply to Pilate's sharp question, substaning the idea of his Kingship. (John 18:37)

While reading Matthew 27:11 you will see Christ questioned, Mark 15:2 and Luke 23:3 you will see Christ replies.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. (John 18:38 we see Christ's Trial and Pilate's unwillingness to condemn).

Pilate feared men rather than God.

Pilate Desires to Release Jesus Christ (John 19:10-16)

Pilate now seems offended at the Christ's silence. While the charge against against him was found to be baseless, from which he should have been vindicated and released, Jesus sought to make no new revelations of himself.

Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? (John 19:10 Christ's Trial and Christ's Silence).

The Prophecy Concerning Christ Death: Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. (John 19:11)

More impressed than ever by this powerful statement, Pilate again showed a desire to release Jesus.

And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. (John 19:12 Christ's Trial and They Demand Jesus's Condemnation).

Pilate prepared to give his judgement, taking his place in his offical seat which stood on a tesselated pavement called "Gabbatha."

When Pilate therefore heard that saying, be brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. ( John 19:13 Christ led to Trial).

This decision was reached, it seems, about noon of the day, which prepared for and terminated in the Paschal Supper.

And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! (John 19:14 Christ's Trial and Outrages by the People).

The judge is now in the act of turning Jesus over to his enemies to be crucified, notwithstanding his innocence.

But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. (John 19:15 Christ's Trial and They Demand Christ's Condemnation).

Pilate could try men like Barabbas and keep the order; but the fate which brought this mysterious prisoner to his attention and judgment, offered nor suggested no solution to the problem which he should solve. Pilate brought under weakness and delivered Jesus Christ over to be crucifixed.

Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: (John 19:16 Christ's Trial and Christ Condemned).

When you review Matthew 27:32 and Mark 15:21 it has on record Christ's Crucifixion and Christ Bearing HIS Cross.

When you review Luke 23:36 it has on record Christ's Crucifixion, The Conduct of the People and How They Give HIM Vinegar, Wine Mingled with Myrrh.

Jesus friends despaired at this time, lingering, however, in silence around the cross, not knowing what do or what next to expect, in this group his mother, Mary, and other friends were numbered.

Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. (John 19:25 Christ's Reception By Men and The Ministry of Women).

John was Jesus close friend and beloved disciple and a few of the women remained with the disciple. Jesus showed the deepest concern for his mother and suggest John look after her like she was his own.

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. (John 19:26,27 Christ's Crucifixion, Christ's Words to Women who wept for HIM).

Prophecy coming to pass. The suffering Messiah has fulfilled this mission. Jesus sense of thirst was a sign that his spirit was at rest. The flesh suffered while the spirit triumphed.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. (John 19:28,29 Christ's Crucifixion, They Give Him Vinegar and Wine Mingled with Myrrh).

Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished with the words, "It is finished." Christ now bows his head and gives up the ghost; the purpose of God in the history of man is accomplished. God has revealed himself as love.

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. (John 19:30, Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46 Christ's Death).

How to Remain Faithful Disciples of Christ

While Jesus was on earth in His ministry, there were many "disciples of Christ" who claimed to follow Jesus (John 6).? When they saw that He did many supernatural miracles, feeding the five thousands, healing the sick and opening blind eyes, they were all astonished and followed Jesus to many places.

Nevertheless, we find in the Gospel of John that such a large multitude of these "disciples of Christ" ended up leaving Him and went on their separate ways.? How could this be?? Didn't they all claimed to follow Jesus and believed who He said He was, that is, the Christ?? Then how could these alleged "disciples of Christ" leave Him and went on their separate ways?

We find this answer clearly in the Gospel of John chapter 6, verse 25 to 71.

Jesus was preaching about the need for the disciples of Christ to "eat His flesh and drink His blood" because if they do not do so, they will have "no life in them" (John 6:53-56).? When the crowd heard this, they all began to grumble amongst themselves asking how could this be?? Many ended up saying that "this is a hard teaching" and because of this incident, many of the previously alleged disciples of Christ turned back and no longer followed Jesus (John 6:66).

Clearly, Jesus was not teaching His own disciples to partake in cannibalism of Himself.? He was simply telling them that they must "eat His flesh and drink His blood" in a "spiritual sense".? This is the same scenario when Jesus told Nicodemus that He must be born again in order for Him to see the Kingdom of God.? Of course, Nicodemus was confused how a man can enter into his mother's womb again to be born the second time (John 3:1-21).? Jesus however was talking to him about a "spiritual" born again experience much like what He is describing here in John chapter 6.

True disciples of Christ are to take the words of Jesus to "eat His flesh and drink His blood" in a spiritual sense also.? This means that we are to believe in Him in who He said He was, and what He said He would do.? True disciples of Christ believe that it was His obedience to God the Father such that He was crucified on the cross for the sins of the world and resurrected on the third day so that those who repent and trust in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

But going back to this incident in the Gospel of John chapter 6, what does this show us about the numerous "disciples of Christ" that deserted Jesus?? And how can we learn from this incident?

First of all, we see that there will be many people who will call themselves "disciples of Christ" when things are going well and God seems to be blessing them (e.g) Jesus feeding the five thousand, turning water into wine and healing multitudes.? However, when persecution and trial comes and when the call to deny ourselves to pick up the cross to follow Jesus (Matt 16:24), then that is time when many people will fall away because they think it is "too difficult".

Jesus gave a parable in Matthew 13:1-21 that explained just this point.? He was describing three different groups of people.? One group heard the word of God with joy in the beginning but because they have no root in their faith, they fell away when times of trials and persecution came.? Another group of people heard the word of God but because of the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches had choked the word and made them unfruitful.? It was only the last group of people who heard the word of God and bear fruit thirty, sixty and a hundred fold because their faith was sowed on good soil.? This last group of people are the true disciples of Christ who are the overcomers who will enter into God's everlasting Kingdom (Matthew 24:12-13)

So the most important question for you and I today is this: which group do you and I belong?

nt lives?

May you and I be like Simon Peter who when Jesus asked His disciples "are you going to leave also?", Peter answered "where can we go Lord, you have the words of eternal life" (John 6:68).

Yes Simon Peter may have stumbled and made mistakes in his life even though he personally walked with Jesus throughout His entire ministry.? He denied Jesus three times, doubted in his faith and sunk in the water while walking towards Jesus, and he was later also confronted by Paul that he favoured the Jews over the Gentiles (Galatians 2).? But despite all these mistakes that Jesus foresaw, His message to Simon Peter was:

"Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

?May you and I be encouraged to know that God is not looking for someone "perfect" to serve Him and do His will.? He is simply looking for those who even though they may stumble, but they will not throw in the towel and turn away because it is too difficult.? Those who are true disciples of Christ are those who will continue to persevere no matter how difficult things become or how strong the persecution is.? By God's grace they shall overcome through the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).

This is how we overcome!

This is how we can be faithful and remain true disciples of Christ steadfast till the end so that when our King returns we shall inherit His everlasting Kingdom!? Amen!

The Miracles Of Jesus Christ

One of the most essential parts of Christianity lies in recognizing the fact that Jesus Christ was divine. And one of the ways in which his divinity is proved by scholars in the Bible is to emphasize the several miracles that Jesus in academic circles, are oftentimes categorized according to the act that was carried out. Hence, miracles which involves conquering physical barriers are considered miracles of nature, those wherein Jesus cast out demons are known as exorcisms, and those miracles which involved healing are cures. The Miracles of Nature-- although Jesus' miracles at times did not involve people, they usually served an illustrative purpose (the major one being to prove and manifest divinity).

And these are known as miracles of nature. It actually included walking on water, feeding large crowds with relatively little food and causing His followers to catch numerous fish though they had been failing all night. (He also at several times raised people from the dead and He also walked through a crowd that wanted to throw Him off a cliff.) But Jesus' first ever miracle of nature recorded in the Biblical canon was when He turned water into wine at a wedding. His mother Mary was one of the guests at that wedding and He and His disciples also came.

When the wine ran out, Mary approached Him and told Him that His time had not yet come. Still, He proceeded to turn the water that was to be used for cleansing into wine, which the master of ceremonies declared to be the best-tasting wine he ever had in his life, as opposed to normal conventions which had the host bringing out the inferior wine second. This miracle could be interpreted to demonstrate Him using all things to His ends, making the unclean clean, and of being straightforward in the introduction of His message. His Miracles of Exorcism. Another category of miracle that He performed are involved casting out demons on afflicted individuals.

He is recorded as having cast demons out singly and in large groups after having them name themselves and recognize His authority. These differ from His healing miracles in that they vividly portray a struggle of good versus evil instead of conquest over the natural. Jesus' Healing Miracles. The healing miracles of Jesus offered some insights into His character and His mission as a whole. And these are the best recorded in the Bible, because so many illnesses he healed were regarded as a death sentence by the cultures of that time. Jesus demonstrated His mission of loving the unloved, at the same time of course demonstrating His divinity.

Jesus' words after curing many people are the same; "through your faith, you are healed." (Matt 9:22). Jesus demonstrated through this that people come through Him through their own faith rather than through His compulsion. For instance, lepers were regarded as outcasts of society. They had to carry bells and cry "unclean" whenever they come nearer to other people. In order to cure these lepers, He would often touch them, to the apprehension of His disciples. He then made it clear through His healing that it was the faith of the people that He healed that caused the cure.

The Ten Success Secrets Of Jesus Christ On Earth

Have you ever considered how Jesus succeeded on earth to the point that His words and acts are still being celebrated, and His followers are increasing tremendously by the hour? Jesus came on a mission and He finished within a short but good record time. What could have been His success secrets? This article gives the secrets of Jesus' success on earth.

And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him- John 8:29 (NKJV)

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him - Acts 10:38 (NKJV)

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, - Philippians 2:8-9 (NKJV)

Jesus' ministry on earth was only for three and half years but was so impactful and successful; within this period He laid an unshakeable foundation that His disciples are still building on and will continue to build on till He returns. His success secrets (which if you act upon) are able to reproduce the same success story in your life. Let's look at them:

The Success Secrets of Christ.

1. Obedience

Jesus was very obedient to the instructions of His father. He came first and foremost in obedience to God. God needed someone to redeem man and He sent Christ to do so - Galatians 4:4-5. And throughout His stay on earth, He lived a life of obedience unto God. This enabled Him to carry God's presence all through His time on earth (John 8:29).

And according to John 3:2, no man can do the miracles that Jesus did except God is with him. In other words, Christ's obedience to God led to the miracles that occurred through Him. Furthermore, obedience led to His name being exalted above every other name - Philippians 2:9

2. Wisdom

Jesus was the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24) but He needed to be filled with wisdom to be able to succeed in His assignment - Luke 2:40. In many occasions He applied wisdom to overcome the Pharisees' plots. And His teachings were done with great applications of wisdom.

In John 8:3-11, when they brought the woman caught in adultery, Jesus through wisdom gave the Pharisees no room to accuse Him, and at the same time rescued the woman from being stoned.

His teachings and manner of teaching them were profoundly out of wisdom, to the point that the people wondered how he got such wisdom being only a 'carpenter's son' - Matthew 13:54-55. His illustrations and ability to relate His teachings to everyday life made it easy for the people to understand and believe in Him.

3. Anointing

This is another success secret of Jesus. The anointing of God in His life enabled Him to go about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil - Acts 10:38. It was when Jesus returned in the power of the Holy Spirit, after His temptation by the devil, that the news of Him went out through the entire surrounding region - Luke 4:14

This was one of the reasons why Christ asked His disciples not to leave Jerusalem until they were endued with the power of the Holy Spirit - Acts 1:4, 8. The anointing was to enable them fulfill their assignment on earth successfully. The power of the anointing manifested in the life of Peter immediately after the baptism of the Holy Spirit; the man who could not face a young girl before the death of Jesus (John 18:17)was now bold to speak to multitudes, at the end of which three thousand men were added to the kingdom of Christ - Acts 2:14-42

4. Humility

Christ's humility enabled Him to finish His assignment in spite of the words and actions of the Pharisees against Him. He endured the disrespect and insults of the men He created (Colossians 1:16) that He may finish successfully His mission on earth.Though He was God, being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:8.

Humility is a quality that attracts God to you. God detests the proud (Proverbs 16:5) but the humble will He guide in justice and teach His ways - Psalm 25:9. Jesus Christ enjoyed God's guidance because He was humble and the very words He taught the people were the words He got from God - John 12:49-50.

5. Self awareness

Christ knew who He was and believed in Himself and His mission on earth. He didn't need any man's opinion of Himself but God's approval. Self awareness enabled Him to remain focused on His assignment in spite of distractions from here and there, and it helped him to respond positively to people even when they were against Him. On the cross He asked God to forgive His crucifiers because they didn't know what they were doing - Luke 23:34.

He was so aware of Himself that the soldiers sent to arrest Him returned to the Pharisees without Him - John 7:45-46. In John 4:1-42, we see the power of self awareness. The Samaritan woman who challenged Him over a well got saved along with some others from her city. And when His disciples urged Him to eat physical food, He had this to say, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work" - John 4:34 (NKJV)

6. Vision

Jesus was a man of vision. Hebrews 12:2 tells us that Christ for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. This joy was His vision. The joy of being exalted at the right of God amongst the redeemed kept Him going even in the midst of heavy persecution.

Jesus envisioned God's kingdom being filled with the redeemed of the Lord and God sitting with the multitudes reconciled back to Him. This vision was so strong in Him that He told His disciples that He was going to prepare a place for them - John 14:2-3.

Christ's desire was to please His father and one major way to do that was to restore man to his original state before the fall. He knowing how much God loved man and wanted him delivered from destruction, came and endured the cross to achieve the heart desire of His father. He had the vision to see the world saved from their sins and restored back to their original fellowship with God.

7. Word of God

The word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path - Psalm 119:105. Anyone who wants to succeed in life needs to have the word of God as his guide. And Christ being the Word Himself (John 1:1-3, 14) was very conversant with the scriptures and used them as the need arose.

When the devil tempted Him in the wilderness, He used the word of God to defeat him - Luke 4:1-13. And when He was given the book of Isaiah to read, He knew the very place that talked about Him and His assignment on earth; these verses He read in the synagogue, introducing Himself and His mission to people - Luke 4:18-21

And when the Jews accused Jesus of blasphemy, He used the word of God to prove that He didn't blaspheme but only agreed with the word of God - John 10:33-36. Christ was born of the word and lived by the word.

8. Prayer

Prayer is the power house of any believer, and Jesus never played with it. Before He commenced His ministry full time, He engaged in forty days fasting and prayer, after which He returned in the power of the Holy Spirit - Luke 4:1-2, 14-15. And when He wanted to choose His twelve disciples, He prayed all night - Luke 6:12-13.

Furthermore, when it was time for Him to be crucified, He prayed so earnestly that His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground - Luke 22:44. And the bible recorded that an angel came and strengthened Him - Luke 22:43

Prayer was a channel of reinforcing Himself spiritually and a channel through which He received wisdom, instructions, guidance and directions from God. So, if Christ who is God needed to pray without ceasing, then we surely need to pray more.

9. Delegation

For you to succeed in your field or assignment, you need to learn to delegate some aspects of your work. Team work achieves more than what one man can do. Delegation helps you to achieve more within a shorter period and it gives excellent results.

Moses tried a one man's squad style and he and the people got tired easily. Jethro, his father in-law suggested delegation to him, which he heeded to and it worked out for him and the people - Exodus 18.

Jesus Christ also employed the delegation method in His ministry and this is why up till today the gospel is still being preached though Christ has returned to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God - Mark 16:19.

In Mark 6:7-13, Christ sent out the twelve two by two to go and preach the gospel. They went and people were saved, delivered and healed. Also, in Luke 10:1,

They were to go and prepare the cities for His coming so that the result would be more profound by the time He entered the cities. And they went and returned rejoicing that even demons were subject to them in His name - Luke 10:17.

10. Trust in no man

Jesus loved everyone but He did not put His trust in any man. The scripture says in John 2:24 -25, that Jesus didn't commit Himself to any man, because He knew all men and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.

There is no help in man; when his spirit departs, he returns to his earth and in that very day his plans perish - Psalm 146:3-4. Man is not reliable, he is like grass that is today and by tomorrow is no more. Man is naturally selfish, unstable and limited; putting your trust in him is to jeopardize your success.

Cursed is the man that puts his trust in man and makes flesh his strength; he will not see any good coming his way and he will dwell in parched places of the wilderness -Jeremiah 17:5-6. This connotes failure and Jesus wanted success. To put trust in man is to sign for failure.

Christ put all His trust in God, who is forever stable, unlimited and has all the power to keep His promises to Him. God is answerable to no man and depends on nobody for His operations. Blessed is the man that puts his trust in the Lord; he will be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought and it will not cease from yielding fruit - Jeremiah 17:7-8. That certainly is success!

Therefore trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6

In conclusion, Jesus Christ truly succeeded in His assignment on earth. He engaged in the above success secrets and His success knew no bounds; His success is still on and multiplying even though He is no more physically here on earth. You too can engage in these and enjoy success in life.

Symbols of the Seven Spirits of God

There are seven distinct Spirits of God. Each has Her own name and sphere of influence, but all always act together to produce the very character and nature of God Himself. Here we will consider some of the symbols used to represent the Seven Spirits of God. Some of the non-specific symbols of the Seven Spirits of God include: the seven -branched menorah (Exodus 25:31-40), the seven eyes on the rock (Zechariah 3:9) and on the Lamb (Revelation 5:6), the seven lamp stands (Revelation 1:12), the seven stars (Revelation 1:20), the seven horns on the Lamb (Revelation 5:6), and the seven thunders (Revelation 10:3). Even though each of these symbols represent the Seven Spirits of God collectively, we have no way of discerning one Spirit from another. However, there are also many other symbols which do separate into individual Spirits. For example, let us consider the Spirit of Life: The very first revelation of the Seven Spirits, not including the many repetitions of words and names of God, is the seven days of creation. On the third day, which we will call Tuesday by tradition, the Lord created the oceans, dry land, and plant life, hence the Spirit of Life acted in creation. She is represented by the breath of life (Genesis 2:7), Her rainbow color is green (the color of life), She is responsible for the first plague on Egypt (turning the river to blood - Exodus 7:19-25), the seventh of the ten commandments (adultery), and is represented by the last of the seven commanded annual feasts: the Feast of Tabernacles (Deuteronomy 16:13-17). When we look at the book of Revelations, we find that She is represented by the church at Sardis (the dead church 3:1-6), the fourth seal which is also the fourth horseman of the apocalypse (death 6:7,8), the first trumpet (vegetation struck 8:7), the second blessing of the Book of Revelation (those who die will rest 14:13), and the third bowl of wrath (rivers and springs turn to blood 16:4). Obviously, similar lists could be made for the remaining Spirits of God. If the Seven Spirits of God are so ubiquitous throughout the entire Bible, why is it that almost no one has ever heard a sermon or teaching about Them? I asked the Lord the exact same question, and He replied "no one asked." Yes the Lord God is infinite. Yes we will be forever learning more about Him, His nature, and His ways, but it isn't like this information was hidden. Certainly the ancient priests of Israel should have known there was something special about a seven day week and a seven-branched menorah, but they apparently didn't care to look into it. They were more concerned about what they could receive from God, rather than contemplating the identity of God. Most people would much rather seek blessings from the Lord, but not the Lord Himself, the Provider of those blessings, and rarely receive the blessings they desire. They live in ignorance and poverty by their own design. Perhaps the real reason we rarely receive the blessings the Lord has promised for those who seek Him, is the fact that we would rather seek the blessings than the provider of those blessings: Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:31-34, NKJV) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6, NKJV) Jon Straumfjord is the author of numerous articles about the Seven Spirits of God and the God of the Bible. He is also the creator of the website http://www.7-spirits.com, and is the author of the book "The Seven Spirits of God."

The Seven Trumpets of Revelation

The prophecies of the "seven trumpets" are found in Revelation chapters eight, nine and eleven. Revelation 8:2-6 gives the introduction preceding the specific description of each individual trumpet. These trumpets are part of God's judgments that He will pour out on this wicked world during earth's final days. In Revelation 8:7, the first trumpet brings hail and fire mingled with blood upon the earth to the extent that one-third of earth's trees are burned up, as well as the grass. This judgment is similar to the seventh plague poured out on Egypt in the days of Moses, which also had hail and fire mingled. The reference to fire accompanying the hail probably indicates severe and widespread lightning that ignites the fires that burn earth's trees and grass. These must be ferocious storms that encompass most of the world, because one-third of earth's foliage is destroyed. The description of blood mingled with the hail and fire might depict the loss of life caused by the hail, lightning and winds from this incredible global storm. In Revelation 8:8-9, the second trumpet causes a "great mountain" that is on fire to be cast down to the earth, which destroys one-third of the ships in the ocean and kills one-third of the sea creatures, while causing one-third of earth's seas/oceans to become like blood. This is an obvious depiction of a large asteroid, perhaps miles in diameter, which would indeed have the appearance of being a mountain on fire falling from the sky. The bloodlike appearance of the ocean could be from discoloration caused by the asteroid or, more likely, is a graphic illustration of the blood shed by the hundreds of thousands of people killed when one-third of earth's ships are destroyed combined with one-third of earth's sea life also perishing. It is apparent that this asteroid lands in one of earth's great oceans, probably the Atlantic or Pacific. In Revelation 8:10-11, the third trumpet causes a "great star" burning like a torch to fall from heaven, which results in one-third of earth's rivers and springs of water becoming wormwood, probably meaning they've become exceedingly bitter, undrinkable and poisoned. It states that this tainted water results in the death of many men. This certainly cannot be referring to a literal, physical star that falls to earth, because it could only affect the rivers and springs where it actually fell. To poison one-third of earth's rivers and springs would require hundreds or thousands of stars falling throughout the world. Therefore, this "great star" is obviously symbolic. And, we know that the term star is used elsewhere in the book of Revelation to represent angels (Revelation 1:20; Revelation 12:4,7,9). So, this third trumpet probably depicts a great angel coming down from heaven to turn one-third of earth's rivers and springs into "wormwood" as another judgment upon our rebellious world. Now, at this point, the earth has been pummeled by a global hailstorm, set on fire by the lightning from this storm, devastated from the impact of a huge asteroid, and had one-third of its fresh water sources poisoned and undrinkable. Millions of dead bodies will be everywhere and disease will be widespread throughout the world. Furthermore, multitudes will be dying from thirst and starvation. It is fair to say that chaos and panic will be rampant. In Revelation 8:12, the fourth trumpet brings darkness to one-third of the sun, moon and stars. This could either be a supernatural miracle of God, or the natural result of the previous trumpets. Scientists tell us that one of the aftereffects of a major asteroid colliding with earth would be numerous earthquakes and massive volcanic eruptions sending incredible volumes of ash into our atmosphere, which when combined with the smoke from fires already covering one-third of earth's surface, would certainly result in darkness covering much of our planet, probably the equivalent of one-third, as stated in Revelation. Whatever the cause, one-third of the world is now covered in darkness. In the fifth trumpet (Revelation 9:1-11), the key to the bottomless pit is given to a "star" fallen from heaven. Since literal, physical stars do not have hands to receive or use keys, it is reasonable to assume that this star is also symbolic of an angel; in this case, a "fallen" angel named Abaddon or Apollyon, as stated in Revelation 9:11 (Revelation 12:4,7,9; Revelation 9:11). This angel uses this key to open the "bottomless pit". The Greek word used here is "abussos", which literally means an abyss or bottomless pit. As you will see, this is quite significant. When the abussos is opened a dark smoke arises, from which comes "demonic locusts". Why do I call them demonic locusts? There are several reasons. This abussos is the place where the devil will be punished for 1000 years (Revelation 20:1-3). It is also the place where the demons named "legion" did not want to be cast into by Jesus (Luke 8:30-31); they were obviously familiar with it. It is also the place where the beast/antichrist of Revelation ascends from (Revelation 11:7; Revelation 17:8). Therefore, we know that it is a place of punishment or torment for the devil and fallen angels. It also may be the same place referred to by Peter in 2nd Peter 2:4, where angels who sinned were cast down to in "chains" of darkness. The word Peter used in this text, which is translated as hell, is tartaros, and it is only used once in all of Scripture. It means "deepest abyss", which would be similar to abussos' meaning of an abyss or pit that is bottomless. You can't get any deeper of an abyss than a bottomless one. It is also noteworthy that the angels in tartaros are in chains, and the devil will likewise be in a "great chain" in the abussos (Revelation 20:1-3). All of these things indicate that it is probably not normal "insect-locusts" that had been locked away in this abussos. Furthermore, the antichrist who also ascends from the abussos, is certainly not a literal locust. Moreover, the king of this army of locusts is a fallen angel named Abaddon or Apollyon. Additionally, these locusts certainly do not look like normal locusts. They are shaped like horses, have faces like men, gold-like crowns on their heads, hair like women's, teeth like lions', iron-like breastplates and tails like scorpions. And, they sting people with their scorpion-tails causing pain so intense that men desire to die. These are obviously some kind of supernatural locusts, and their place of origin, the abussos, is certainly within the demonic realm. Therefore, I refer to them as demon-locusts. Revelation 9:4 stresses that these locusts of the fifth trumpet only afflict people who do not have God's seal on their foreheads, so only the wicked. This statement was not made concerning the first four trumpets, which could indicate that the first four trumpets affected everyone, including God's people. This would be similar to the plagues that God sent upon Egypt in the days of Moses, because there also some plagues affected both the Egyptians and the Israelites, and some only afflicted the Egyptians; the first three plagues affected both, but the final seven plagues affected Egyptians only. Apparently, now, from the fifth trumpet through the seventh trumpet, only the wicked are affected. The chaos and panic caused by the first four trumpets will be multiplied greatly by the supernatural attack of these swarming locusts with their tormenting stings during the fifth trumpet. At this point, people would do anything to get relief from the calamities that have befallen them. They would gladly support any government or person who could relieve their pain and offer solutions to their problems. This presents a perfect time and opportunity for antichrist to make his appearance. My article titled, "The Antichrist of Revelation", discusses the subject of the antichrist in detail. The sixth trumpet is presented in Revelation 9:13-21. However, before discussing these verses in detail, it is necessary to refer to Revelation chapter eleven. This is where the subject of the "Two Witnesses" is presented. In my article titled, "The Two Witnesses of Revelation", I biblically prove that these witnesses represent God's people, Christian Jews and gentiles, doing God's final and powerful evangelistic ministry during earth's final days. After these two witnesses (God's people) have ascended to heaven, Revelation 11:14 states that the "second woe" is past, and that the "third woe" is coming quickly. Revelation 11:15 then records the blowing of the seventh trumpet that includes the second earthquake and great hail in Revelation 11:19, which is obviously the fulfillment of the third woe that was "coming quickly" mentioned in verse fourteen; especially because there are no more trumpets to follow, for, as Revelation 11:15 states, "the kingdoms of this world have now become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ". Therefore, the judgments brought by the seventh trumpet are certainly the third woe. Keeping this in mind and, also, that following the blowing of the fourth trumpet in Revelation 8:12, there were still "three woes" yet to come associated with three remaining trumpets (Revelation 8:13); and, also remembering that following the fifth trumpet, Revelation 9:12 states that one of the "three woes" was now past, which meant that the fifth trumpet was the "first woe"; therefore, if the seventh trumpet is the third woe, and the fifth trumpet is the first woe, then the sixth trumpet has to be the "second woe". This is significant since it tells us that the sixth trumpet mentioned in Revelation 9:13-21, also includes the three and a half year time period of the ministry of the two witnesses in Revelation 11, because not until after their ministry is finished does Revelation 11:14 state that the second woe is past. It is important to remember this fact, that the sixth trumpet's time period is the same as that of the two witnesses. That being said, it is now time to discuss the sixth trumpet. In Revelation 9:13-15 the sixth trumpet is blown, resulting in four angels being released to kill one-third of mankind. And, based on Revelation 9:16, they apparently make use of an army of 200 million horsemen to accomplish their task. Is this part of the "Battle of Armageddon" taught by most prophecy teachers today; a great, final war between nations fighting each other? Not according to the book of Revelation. During the reign of the antichrist, the armies of the earth are not at odds with each other, and are not gathered together to fight each other. They are in unison serving the antichrist-beast, and are gathered together to fight Jesus when He returns (Revelation 17:12-14; Revelation 19:11-19). As depicted in Revelation 16:13-16, demonic spirits go forth doing miraculous signs to seduce and rally the world's armies to this audacious scheme of attacking Jesus Christ at His return. Who, then, is represented by this army of 200 million horsemen? A thorough examination of Revelation 9:16-19 reveals some significant clues. First, it is an army of "horsemen". And, the Lord Jesus also leads an angelic army on horses in Revelation 19:11-14. This passage states that the heads of the horses were like "lions". The lion is king of the land animals. Proverbs 30:30 says that the "lion" is mighty among beasts. Hosea 11:10 declares that the Lord roars like a "lion". Revelation 5:5 calls Jesus the "Lion" of the tribe of Judah. And, Proverbs 28:1 states that the righteous are bold as a "lion". So, the mighty lion, king of the land animals, is used to describe our Lord Jesus Christ and His righteous followers. This passage also says that the tails of the horses are like "serpents", having heads. Although the serpent is used at times in Scripture to depict the devil, it is also used in a "positive manner" at other times in the Bible. It is used as an instrument of God's leaders when God turned the rods of Moses and Aaron into serpents (Exodus 4:2-4; Exodus 7:8-12). Also, it is used positively to describe a character trait needed by Christians when Jesus told His disciples to be wise as serpents (Matthew 10:16). And, it is used to describe "leviathan", which the Bible depicts as a mighty sea serpent that is the "king" of the seas (Isaiah 27:1; Psalm 74:13-14; Job 41:1-34). Furthermore, God used the image of a bronze serpent on a pole to represent Jesus being lifted up on the cross (Numbers 21:5-9; John 3:14-15). Therefore, the serpent is indeed also used in Scripture in positive ways, representing the mighty leviathan, king of the sea creatures, and representing Jesus and His followers. This passage additionally states that the "breastplates" of the horsemen were colored fiery red (I'll deal with the other two colors in the next two paragraphs), and that "fire" came out of the horses' mouths. Interestingly, Revelation 11:5 also pictured the two witnesses (God's people) with fire proceeding from their mouths. Revelation 9:17 says that the horsemen's breastplates were also colored hyacinth blue, the color of "smoke", and it stated that smoke came out of the horses' mouths. Isaiah 6:4 portrays God's presence as being manifested by smoke. Revelation 15:8 reveals the temple in heaven to be filled with smoke from the glory of God. And, from numerous scriptures, it appears that things that God touches do smoke (Psalm 144:5; Psalm 104:32; Exodus 19:18). Furthermore, Joel 2:28-31 states that, just before the great and awesome "day of the Lord", there will be wonders on earth including "fire" and "smoke"; moreover, in the context of this passage, these things are associated with God's Spirit being poured out on His servants. Therefore, smoke is associated with God's presence and the work of His Spirit-filled servants in the Bible. The breastplates of the horsemen are also colored sulfur yellow, the color of "brimstone", and brimstone came out of the horses' mouths as well. Brimstone is always dispensed by God in Scripture, never by the devil, demons or any of God's enemies. These evil entities do receive and experience the tormenting punishment of brimstone, but they never dispense or control the use of it. Brimstone is always controlled by God, and is associated with God's wrath against unrepentant sinners. This is evident in all of the following scriptures. Brimstone is associated with God's wrath poured out on Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:24; Luke 17:29). Isaiah 34:8-9 says that the Lord's vengeance would turn Edom's dust into brimstone. Psalm 11:5-6 states that the Lord rains brimstone on the wicked. Ezekiel 38:21-22 declares that the Lord will rain down brimstone upon Gog. Revelation 14:9-10 states that those who receive the mark of the beast will drink of God's wrath and will be tormented with fire and brimstone. Revelation 20:10 says that the devil will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. The antichrist-beast and the false prophet will also be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 19:20). The Bible states that brimstone will be scattered on the dwelling of the wicked (Job 18:15,21). The Lord threatened to cast brimstone upon Israel as a curse if they forsook Him (Deuteronomy 29:23-28). And, Revelation 21:8 says that all of the wicked will die their "second death" in the lake of fire and brimstone. Once again, brimstone is always dispensed by God, never by the devil and his agents. Revelation 9:18-20 referred to the fire, smoke and brimstone dispensed through the 200 million horsemen, as being "plagues". It is interesting that the two witnesses also strike with plagues (Revelation 11:6). The 200 million horsemen operate during the sixth trumpet (Revelation 9:13-16). Likewise, the two witnesses also operate during the sixth trumpet, as discussed several paragraphs earlier. Therefore, in summary, we've discovered several significant clues concerning the army of 200 million horsemen. (1.) We know that they do not represent the armies of earth fighting each other. (2.) We know that they are probably symbolic because literal, physical horses do not have heads like lions or tails like serpents, and they don't breathe fire, smoke and brimstone. (3.) We know that Jesus' angelic followers in heaven are also pictured as an army of horsemen. (4.) We know that Jesus and His followers are compared to a lion, the "king" of land animals, in Scripture, and we also know that the horses had heads like lions. (5.) We know that, although a serpent was used by the devil in the Garden of Eden, and is used to depict him at other times in Scripture; nonetheless, we also know that a serpent is used in positive ways elsewhere in the Bible, such as to depict Moses' and Aaron's authority over pharaoh, to represent the wisdom Christians need, and to represent Jesus being lifted up on the cross; moreover, a sea serpent, the great leviathan, is called the "king" of sea creatures. I ask you to think about the picture presented in this passage in Revelation 9:17-19. The front of each horse, the head, is a lion, the "king" of land animals, while the back of each horse, the tail, is a serpent, knowing that the sea serpent leviathan is the "king" of sea creatures. This could certainly be symbolic of an authority and power that is supreme, such as from the "King of Kings", Jesus Christ. Furthermore, once again, remember that Jesus is represented as the Lion of the tribe of Judah in Scripture, and is also represented by a bronze serpent in the Bible, and the lion heads and the serpent tails are at the front and back of the 200 million horses. (6.) We know that the horses have smoke coming out of their mouths, and we know that smoke can depict God's presence and the work of His Spirit-filled servants in Scripture. (7.) We know that brimstone also comes out of the horses' mouths, and we know that brimstone is always dispensed and controlled by God. (8.) We know that the time of the 200 million horsemen is during the sixth trumpet, which is also the time period of the two witnesses. (9.) We know that fire proceeds from the horses' mouths, and we know that fire also proceeds from the mouths of the two witnesses. (10.) We know that the 200 million horsemen dispense plagues, and we know that the two witnesses also strike with plagues. When putting all of the above clues together, what do we come up with? Knowing that the army of 200 million is not the military armies of earth, and knowing that it is symbolic; what is it symbolic of? It certainly appears to be symbolic of authority and power with the "lion" and "serpent" symbolism. Is Jesus/God in charge of this army? And, the smoke and brimstone symbolism would seem to indicate God's presence and His judgment. Is God's divine presence saturating this army, and is He using it to dispense more judgments on earth? Also, knowing that the faithful angels in heaven are pictured on horses following their Divine Commander, Jesus Christ, is it possible, if not probable, that God is also picturing the end-time, faithful followers of Jesus on earth in that manner as well? And, remember that the two witnesses of Revelation 11 represent Christ's faithful followers conducting their final mission on earth. Finally, also remember that both the army of 200 million and the two witnesses bring plagues upon the people, both have fire proceed from their mouths, and both conduct their missions during the sixth trumpet. In view of all of these things, I believe that the most logical conclusion is that the 200 million horsemen in Revelation 9, and the two witnesses in Revelation 11, are one and the same; that is, God's people going forward to do God's final work on earth in the name of, and under the authority of their Divine Commander, Jesus Christ. They are pictured as two witnesses in Revelation 11 to depict God's two olive trees, two lampstands, two anointed ones, converted Jew and gentile working together to complete the final gospel mission to the world. However, in Revelation 9, they are pictured as the great army of "Christian soldiers" that they really are, totaling multiplied millions. It is interesting to note that if the number of Christians involved in this end-time evangelistic endeavor will actually be 200 million, the number of the horsemen, it would represent about ten percent of the worldwide Christian population. In this modern era of "easy believism", cheap grace and worldly, seeker sensitive religion, there may very well be only ten percent of professed Christians who will still serve Jesus in the face of civil fines, imprisonment and martyrdom. There is still one question that needs to be answered. If the 200 million horsemen and the two witnesses represent God's people, how do they kill one-third of mankind, as stated in Revelation 9:15? Do they use guns and bombs? No! The answer is given in Revelation 11:6. They cause plagues to come upon the wicked, they turn the waters to blood, and they stop the rain from falling on earth for three and a half years, thus producing severe drought and famine throughout the world, which will certainly cause multitudes to perish. In Revelation 11:15-19, when the seventh trumpet sounds, the declaration is made that "the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ", which tells us that the end has come. It states that the 24 elders who sit before God, possibly referring to the twelve patriarchs of the Old Testament and the twelve apostles of the New Testament, now fall on their faces in worship. Then, Revelation 11:19 states that there are lightnings, noises, thunderings, another earthquake and "great hail". The events described in this passage are identical to the description of the seventh plague in Revelation 16:17-21. These verses in Revelation 16 also state that there are noises, thunderings, lightnings, an earthquake and hail stones that each weigh a "talent", which is between fifty and a hundred pounds; that certainly qualifies as being the "great hail" mentioned in Revelation 11:19. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that Revelation 11:19 and the seventh plague of Revelation chapter 16 are both describing the same cataclysmic events at the end of the world. How cataclysmic? Revelation 16:17-21 states that the greatest earthquake in history causes the cities of the nations to fall, and causes every island and mountain to disappear; moreover, as previously mentioned, huge hailstones simultaneously fall upon them, weighing between fifty and a hundred pounds each. The events of the seventh plague seem to cover the same time period as the sixth seal. Revelation 6:12-17 says that there is also a great earthquake that causes all of the mountains and islands to be moved out of their place during the sixth seal. And, the sixth seal also ends with the return of Jesus. This passage states that men are trying to hide themselves from His face. Therefore, the sixth seal and the seventh plague obviously cover the same period of time. However, the sixth seal reveals some extra information about additional cataclysmic events that take place at this time. Revelation 6:12-14 states that the sun becomes black, the moon becomes like blood (probably blood red in color), the stars of heaven fall to the earth, and the sky recedes like a scroll when it is rolled up. This supernatural phenomenon in the heavens matches the description given in the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke, and is unquestionably describing the same events and time period. Mark 13:24-26 also speaks of a time when the sun is darkened, the moon does not give its light (which it wouldn't if it was blood red), the stars fall, and the powers in the heavens are shaken. And, immediately after this description, Mark 13:26 states, "then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory". Likewise, Matthew 24:29-30 tells of a time when the sun is darkened, the moon does not give its light, the stars fall, and the powers of the heavens are shaken. And, once again, this is immediately followed by the Son of Man appearing in heaven. Furthermore, this passage states that the unsaved people mourn as Jesus returns, which goes along with the sixth seal's picture of them also trying to hide from Him. Luke's description is similar to that in Matthew and Mark, except that he adds a few more details. Like Matthew and Mark, his account also speaks of there being signs in the sun, moon and stars, as well as the powers of the heavens being shaken, with these events being immediately followed by the Son of Man coming with power and great glory (Luke 21:25-27). However, he adds that the sea and its waves will be roaring, and that the nations and people on earth will be filled with distress, perplexity and fear, to the extent that their hearts will fail them. Luke's account of the sea and its waves roaring would certainly be accurate. The earth's surface is two-thirds water. If numerous stars are falling to the earth throughout the world, the majority of them will probably be landing in earth's oceans, seas and large lakes, thus causing huge tidal waves; moreover, the kind of massive earthquake that is described in the seventh plague and the sixth seal will also produce tidal waves throughout the world that will be many times greater than any this planet has ever experienced before. The events mentioned in these passages in Matthew, Mark and Luke, as well as the events of the seventh trumpet, the seventh plague and the sixth seal, all bring us to the end of this world as we know it, and to the return of Jesus Christ.
