God Wants You to Prosper and Be in Health

God's desire for you as his child is to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. 3 John 2 - "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." You are God's beloved child. You have to know and believe that he really does love you. God is love and you are the focus of his love. "Above all things" is God's priority for you. He knows you need finances to make ends meet as well as to prosper. And he knows you need good health in order to enjoy that financial blessing. So God has given you his Word on the matter because it is impossible for God to lie. And in his Word he has given you a picture of how he wants things to be in your life in regard to prospering and being in health so that you can always see yourself the way he sees you and so that your soul can prosper. And because Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law, all the blessings from God are made available to you through Jesus. One of these blessings has to do with being prosperous. Deuteronomy 28:12 - "The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow." Your prosperity from God is above and beyond what the world could ever give to you. Your prosperity is from God and is kept in heavenly reserves for your own personal use. Yes, God will give you material riches and wealth that are a part of this world, but God is behind those riches which means that the Devil or mankind cannot take them from you. So if it has seemed like finances always have a way of "sifting through your fingers" or if they are like "holes in a bucket" so that you never seem to prosper accordingly, then you have been deceived. You have had circumstances hit you time and time again from Satan in order to condition you that you will always be broke financially and that financial gain and wealth will always avoid you. If you have found yourself always admiring the success and prosperity of others and even doing so in an unselfish or un-envying manner and yet always feeling inadequate in regard to financial prosperity, then it is because Satan has used you as target practice in order to steal your dreams and kill off any hope you may have in order to destroy your life including any Divine prosperity or health from God your Father. It is not God doing this to you. It is Devilish and Satanic in origin. And yes, because you have been deceived for so long you may have found yourself developed in some bad financial habits or destructive health habits. And these have become a tool for Satan to keep you in a downward spiral. But the good news is that all that is past in your life as of today. When you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior the "old things" in your life passed away and "new things" came into being. You don't have to live the way of financial bondage or physical infirmity anymore. You can walk right out of these and into financial abundance and physical health. God wants to put his blessings upon you. His will for you is to be blessed today and every day. He wants to pour forth his blessings upon you and your family. But how can this happen? Matthew 6:33 gives us a clue: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." God wants you first and foremost to be in fellowship with him and to make your relationship with him your number one priority every single day. You may have noticed that because you are all twisted out of shape financially or in such agony physically that you put those areas as your number one priority because of such pain and anguish. It is normal for that to happen that way because the "squeaky wheel gets the grease first" so to speak. But when you put God first by making his Word a priority and your communication with him through prayer your priority he naturally comes and sits between you and your problems. His face is towards you and you enjoy his peace that passes all understanding. But his back is toward your financial and physical problems and they cannot get by him to attack you. He comes between you and them and that includes the demons that like to give you trouble. Isaiah 59:19 - "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." So you first need to make God your priority with your time. The next thing you need to do is make the Gospel of Christ your priority. You need to give the "Great Commission" your undivided attention in regard to your sharing Jesus with others. And you also need to give into the fertile soil of God's kingdom for the Gospel to be brought to others through his ministers of the Gospel. In that way you are investing your time personally as well as your income to further the good news of Jesus Christ. God will reward you accordingly. But do not be deceived. He who sows sparingly will reap sparingly and he who sows generously will reap generously. (2 Corinthians 9:6) When you set aside time for God and then set aside time to share Jesus with others and then set aside and give your best gifts financially because you are investing in the winning of souls to Christ, then you are putting God first and the result is that "these things shall be added unto you." God will move heaven and earth to make sure that you prosper. And because you put the "Great Commission" (as your priority in both time and financial giving) after your time with God and building your relationship with him, you will see very clearly what you have received from God through Christ. You will find that your soul will naturally prosper. And when this happens you will find yourself prospering and enjoying good health above all things. Philemon 6 - "I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ." So it is clear that when you partner with good ministries of the Gospel of Christ in both sharing Jesus yourself and in giving into the fertile soil of a God ordained Gospel ministry, you will have a prosperous soul and a deep understanding of every good thing you have from God through Christ Jesus. You will prosper and be in health above all things. Psalm 112:1-3: "Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever." God promises to bless, protect, and even use our children for his honor and glory. There will be no lack in your life as you serve the Lord. And the Scriptures tell you that a righteous person is a giver. Psalm 112:4, 5 - "Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he (you, the upright and righteousness of God in Christ as a child of God) is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. A good man sheweth favor, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion." So even if you have totally messed up your finances and have ruined your health in the past through bad decisions and actions, if you put God first with your time and with sharing Jesus with others and giving financially into the Gospel of Christ, God will give you his wisdom, knowledge and anointing in dealing with the affairs of life which include handling finances and walking in divine health. You will no longer find yourself in that "downward spiral" that has entrapped you in the past and you will find that God has saved and delivered you from the afflictions from the Devil. It does not mean that you won't have afflictions. It means that God will deliver you out of them all. So giving is the result of walking in your righteousness that you have received from God through Christ. It is not possible to live a life of righteousness without giving because giving is the fruit of your righteousness from God. That is why the righteous give. Psalm 112:9 - "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor." "Your horn" as depicted in this verse is God's anointing upon you by his Holy Spirit. So your work in the Lord when you share Jesus with others as well as your giving into the Gospel of Christ will be greatly blessed as well as your personal time with God. Proverbs 10:22 - "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it." And as you give you enact a very powerful spiritual law. Ecclesiastes 11:1, 4-6: "Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God, who maketh all. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good." We cannot keep looking at circumstances as they are when they look different from God's Word. We cannot keep adhering to what we hear when it is not lined up with God's Word. And we cannot desire things that are not relevant or outside of God's Word which would draw us away from him and his blessings for us. And we must not look at the conditions around us when we give. Regardless of what the circumstances look like or what people say or what things get in the way, we must sow in faith. If we "withhold not thine hand" or not refrain from giving, the seed we plant will prosper. As we give, we must keep our eyes and our hearts fixed on God's promises, not on the temporary things that encircle us. And we must not be discouraged or faint as we sow. Galatians 6:9 - "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." Divine prosperity and divine health are God's priority for you. It is no accident and it has been paid for with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. You are God's "beloved" because he sent his Son to die for you so that he could redeem you from your poverty, sickness, sins, and eternal death and separation from him. Your prosperity and health are God's priority for you as his child because the precious blood of Jesus was shed to get it for you after having saved you from your sins and giving you eternal life. Ecclesiastes 5:19 - "Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God." And God's abundance financially comes to those who build his kingdom. Deuteronomy 8:18 - "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." Prosperity is the result of a decision we make to build God's kingdom and that is by winning souls to Christ. Only as we make that decision will God prosper us. In fact being cheap and stingy because of a spirit of greed will destroy prosperity. Proverbs 1:19 - "So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof." If our decisions center on building ourselves up financially or physically for the satisfying of our lusts then God will not bless us. James 4:3 - When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." And Jesus said we must be trusted with money before we can be trusted with anything else. Luke 16:11 - "If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust true riches?" God wants you blessed and in health. But he will only prosper you and cause you to be in health as your soul prospers. And your soul prospers when you make him your first priority followed by the advancing and expanding of his kingdom in the hearts and lives of people. Now is the crucial time for this ministry as we continue to go through amazing open doors. Everywhere we go, hearts are open to God's message of salvation, but we simply don't know how long these doors will be open. Are you ready to receive God's outpouring? Give of your time to develop your relationship with God. Give of yourself in sharing Jesus with those around you. And give to the winning of souls and the building of God's kingdom in the hearts and lives of people by investing into the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/8943749
