The Mighty Holy Spirit

John 14:17 - "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." The mighty Holy Spirit is God in you. When you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord the Holy Spirit causes you to be born again and become a new creation in Christ Jesus and a child of God. You are born of the Spirit of God. The mighty Holy Spirit is God on you. When you are filled with or baptized in the Holy Spirit the power of God comes upon you to be a witness for him everywhere you go. The gospel is not in word but in power so that faith is not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. Advance the kingdom of God with the gospel of Christ in the power of the Holy Ghost because there are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit. And the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit; to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues." Expand the kingdom of God through the fivefold ministry because there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. "And the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty (freedom). The Lord has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and diversities of tongues. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." The kingdom of God manifests and his will is done on earth as it is in heaven because there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which works all in all. We are to walk by faith because God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. And let your faith work by love which was shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit. "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teaches, on teaching; or he that exhorts, on his exhortation: he that gives, let him do it with simplicity; he that rules or governs, with diligence, and he that shows mercy, let him do it with cheerfulness." Because God wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses against them, he has given to us the ministry and word of reconciliation. We are ambassadors for Christ to a lost and hurting world. The mighty Holy Spirit is with you. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. And if we live in the Spirit then we also walk in the Spirit because the Lord never leaves us nor forsakes us. Jesus said, "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever." "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is not law. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." And the love of God is in our heart by the Holy Spirit so that we are patient, kind, never jealous, never bragging, and not arrogant. We do not act unbecomingly and do not seek our own. We are not provoked and do not take into account a wrong suffered. We do not rejoice in unrighteousness, but we rejoice with the truth. And by rejoicing with the truth of the word of God, we bear all things (we partake of the sufferings of Jesus by being in the world but not of the world), believe all things (believing the Word of God), hope all things (for our salvation is in Christ Jesus), and endure all things (remaining faithful until the end). We never fail because we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. They will know we are Christians by our love. The mighty Holy Spirit is for us. Through Jesus Christ our sins have been forgiven and He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit. Through Jesus Christ we are born of the Spirit of God and have the presence of God for all eternity for we are children of God and have been reconciled with him. Through Jesus Christ we have received the promise of the Holy Spirit as an earnest of our inheritance and as a result God does exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us. Therefore, God supplies all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Through Jesus Christ we have peace because the Holy Spirit is our Comforter because the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Through Jesus Christ, because God raised him from the dead, God quickens (gives life for by Jesus' stripes we were healed) to our mortal bodies by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. Through Jesus Christ we are led by the Spirit of God and he is our teacher. And the Holy Spirit protects us, for when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him.
