I write many sermons on faith, and its benefits to all, that will believe in someone, and somethings, that they cannot see. The Bible tells us that, faith is a substance, something that we cannot see, but can feel. Faith can be held onto or released. Others can see our faith, but only by our works, weather they be good or bad. If we give to others, they see our faith, if we proclaim Jesus as Lord and Christ, others can see this also. Faith is something that must be practiced and given room to grow. The less faith that you have, the little that you can accomplish, but with great faith in the unseen Lord, you can do wonders. It takes faith to use the gifts of the spirit. It take faith also to believe in the Lord our God. This nation, and others, have lost much of their faith in the true God, for the Bible states; "Without Faith, it is impossible to please God." For one can only come to God threw Faith in Jesus Christ. We must believe that God is, and is a rewarder to those that seek Him. Have the delusions and doctrines of this life confused you into believing things that are not sound in doctrine nor in truth? Have you been so disgusted by the so called religious world, that you have shipwrecked your faith, and are now wondering as a cloud upon the blue sky, with no water, nor purpose? For if a cloud brings forth no water, there is just an empty cloud. Just as many with no faith, they are empty of the spirit of God. Faith gives us direction and purpose. Faith gives us power to accomplish much in the Lord, as ambassadors of Christ. Then what is Faith? Faith is to believe that, you are much more worthy of Gods blessings than the birds of the air, the beast of the field, and the clothing of the grass. Faith is knowing that God will feed you and cloth you in diverse situations. Faith is that, God knows when a sparrow falls and that He cares for you much more. This is stated by Jesus in Matthew 6:30; "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?" Faith is a substance whereby we all can approach God, as Children and not, as beggars. Faith is, the absence of fear of the world, the weather, and the demons of darkness, that fill the hearts of the unbelievers. What shall we do to stop the death of the body? Nothing, for we are in the flesh, but not of the flesh. We have a more perfect home, that was built without hands. Thou the seas may roar, the earth quakes, the people shout in anger, we still have our faith in a higher power. For when there is a great storm in our lives, there is also a great calm to follow, brought forth by the Lord. Remember what Jesus stated about faith? "According to your faith be it unto you." Your presence, or dismissal, before the Lord, is dependent totally on your faith. Those that have no faith will hear, "Depart from Me, Ye workers of Iniquity, I never knew you." There are levels of faith, from great to none, from strong to shipwrecked, which are you? Do you constantly worry about your food, shelter or clothing? Where is your faith? Didn't the Lord just tell you, according to your faith, let it be unto you? Faith doesn't come easy, as many believe. Many that are never in want are in the habit of not exercising their faith, so it doesn't grow. The greater faith comes from someone, who does struggle and is in need each day. They are exercising their faith day by day. Remember that Faith only grows when, 1. You ask God and 2. When you practice it. Faith; "Evangelical, justifying, or saving faith, is the assent of the mind to the truth of divine revelation, on the authority of God's testimony, accompanied with a cordial assent of the will or approbation of the heart; an entire confidence or trust in God's character and declarations, and in the character and doctrines of Christ, with an unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation. In other words, that firm belief of God's testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation."(Webster.) "Unreserved surrender of the will to his guidance, and dependence on his merits for salvation." I love this definition of faith. The total surrendering of both mind and soul, without reservation, to the will of God. Faith is the surrendering of all we think we know, to the knowledge of God, and His Son Jesus. To be acceptable to all wisdom, knowledge and understanding of things, past, present and future. For the only one who has such knowledge, has offered to all, who believe, salvation of the soul, threw the name of His Son. Faith is the acceptance of the knowledge that, without the sacrifice of Jesus and the mercies of God, all men are lost and without hope. Using faith means using Gods word, to remind Him, of its continence and His promises. This being by the commandment of Christ. Isa 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. This is how I pray in faith; Our Most Gracious Heavenly Father. I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus, praying, asking and Glorifying your name. Your word tells us that Satan has been defeated by the Lord and Christ. He has no more hold on those, that believe in thy word and your Son Jesus. We know Father, that in the end days we shall be taken before the courts and magistrates, because of the rich being led by Satan to cause us harm. You have always answered my prayers Father, and I ask knowing, that you still do. I have seen many wonders from your hands, and mercy. I know thy works, thy mercy and thy Glory Father. Let us all Glorify thy name for ever more from everlasting to everlasting thou art, the Lord God Almighty. According to your will, let it be done unto us, that believe. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen and Amen. For lack of faith many will, and have, perished. Deu 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. Faith is not hope, but hope with faith, is very powerful. For even the unbelievers have hope, but their hope is not founded upon the promises of God. Their hope lies in man and self. I can do this, I can do that, I can do anything. This is a lie and a deception on their part. "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, (For even Satan stated;) "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?"(Isa 14:12-17) Remember faith is a firm belief of God's testimony, and of the truth of the gospel, which influences the will, and leads to an entire reliance on Christ for salvation. As is your faith, let it be unto you.
