We, Christians know through the teaching of the Holy Bible, that
Christ is the only Savior. He is our only hope, for us to be saved from
the wrath of God on Judgment day. And we all know what to do so that
Christ will save us, and that is, to have a relationship with Him.
But is it really true that only those who are related to Christ have the opportunity to receive the promised salvation by Christ? In John 15:6 Christ said that those branches that will be cast out will be thrown into the fire.
And to know them, we will first answer this: What does it mean, that Christ is the vine and those people who are related to Christ are the branches? Christ as the vine and the people as the branches is the same as saying Christ is the head of the body. The body is the Church.
But is it really true that only those who are related to Christ have the opportunity to receive the promised salvation by Christ? In John 15:6 Christ said that those branches that will be cast out will be thrown into the fire.
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:6, NKJV)In other words, those branches that will remain from the vine will not be thrown into the fire. And the burning by fire will be on the judgment day.
40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. (Matthew 13:40, ibid)Then who is the vine and who are the branches? The vine is Christ and the branches are those who are related to Christ.
5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5, ibid)Therefore, it is true that those who are related to Christ will be not thrown into the fire, or they will be saved on judgment day. However, we still don't know who really are those related to Christ.
And to know them, we will first answer this: What does it mean, that Christ is the vine and those people who are related to Christ are the branches? Christ as the vine and the people as the branches is the same as saying Christ is the head of the body. The body is the Church.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18, ibid)So, if the branches referred to is the church, thus only the members or parts of the church of Christ will be saved on judgment day, because they have relationship with Christ. The relationship we're talking here is Christ as the head and the church as His body. Why is it, that only those who are inside the church of Christ will be saved? It is because Christ will save His church.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:23, ibid)Just as it was said on that verse, Christ is the savior of the body. If Christ is the savior of the body (His Church), who then will save those who are outside his church?
13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person." (I Corinathians 5:13, ibid)According to Apostle Paul, outside God judges. And what will happen to those who are outside the church, as God judgment to them? Back to the first verse we use, they will be thrown into the fire.
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:6, ibid)Therefore, it is the teaching of the Holy Bible that those who are related to Christ are the ones who have the opportunity to be saved on judgment day. And those who are really related to Christ are only those who are parts of his body, or members of his Church. Those who are not members of the Church of Christ will receive God's judgment which is to be thrown into the fire. So, if you want to be saved on judgment day, make sure to become members of the true Church of Christ.
